Don’t Miss the 2011 Bartlett Festival and Car Show
What better way to spend an autumn weekend than at W. J. Freeman Park? This won’t be any normal day at the park, however. Friday, September 30 kicks off the 2011 Bartlett Festival and Car Show that will have a little something for everyone. The festival lasts Friday from 6 – 10 p.m. and Saturday, October 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This family-friendly festival will begin with live musical entertainment at 6:30 on Friday and will also include a midway carnival and vendors. The fun doesn’t stop there! Saturday’s schedule of events includes an amateur BBQ cook-off, a car show, arts and crafts, musical stages, children’s activities, food vendors and much more. Whether you’ve got children or not, this festival will be sure to keep you young at heart. Did we mention that admission to the festival is free?
Freeman Park is just a hop, skip and a jump away from our community at The Meadows, so pack up the family and head over to the park for a weekend you won’t soon forget!
