The best holiday light displays in Memphis
The holidays just aren’t the holidays without going around and looking at all of the magnificent holiday lights displays that people put up to celebrate the season. So many different neighborhoods add their own little holiday flair to the Memphis mix.
If you’re looking for some great holiday light displays around town, www.ilovememphisblog.com suggests driving around Belleair Drive (off Poplar and across from Overton Park in Midtown). “The entire street looks great – the light poles are wrapped, and there are a ton of awesome blue and white lights.”
Also check out the neighborhood around White Station and Quince (between 240 and Park). According to the local blog, “this neighborhood has a really high concentration of decorated houses. There’s a house on White Station just north of Sanderlin that’s kind of amazing. All of the lights flash as though they’ve been timed to music.”
Do you have a neighborhood to check out holiday light displays? Are you doing anything special with your apartment here at The Meadows for the season? Leave a comment and let us know, or better yet, take a picture of it and upload it to our community Facebook page!
