Find the freshest produce at the local farmers market!

Do you love stocking your apartment full of the freshest locally-grown items around? Of course you do! That’s why I’m so excited to announce that the Farmers Market at the Memphis Botanical Gardens is now open for the season!

Residents will have their pick of the freshest produce, brightest flowers, softest home-baked breads, sweets, vegan foods, meats, honey and more! It’s all grown locally and purchasing helps booster the local economy – sounds like a good deal to me! Here are some of the items you can expect to find:

Bennett-Burks Nursery- fresh spring greens & produce
Chef Fresh- frozen prepared foods, casseroles, gumbos, & more
Coldwater Alpaca Ranch- hand-knit & felted items, lotions, soaps, & sulfate-free shampoos
Delta Pecans- sweet & savory roasted pecans & peanuts
Delta Sol Farm- lettuce mix, bok choi, strawberries, arugula, & plants, including lettuce, basil, rosemary, lavender & peppermint
Flora at Bluebird Farms- fresh produce
Jones Orchard- strawberries, jams, & jellies
Las Delicias Tortilleria- fresh baked tortilla chips, salsa, & guacamole
Mama D’s Italian Ice- sweet, cool, flavorful, & hopelessly addictive!!
The Uptown Grocer- minimally processed appetizers, soups, & casseroles
Mathis Creek Farms- certified Angus beef & pork sausage
